The Nota Simple is the main document you need to start the process of buying a property. The Nota Simple confirms who the owner is, what mortgages are on the property and the definition of the property in terms of space and land so you know what you are buying. Combine this with the Urban plan and the cadastre and you have the key documents starting to buy a house. BUT you still probably need a lawyer to avoid legal gotchas. |
